Candlemaker (General Labor) Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 15.50 to $ 17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available
• Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts
• 1st shift: start times 5:00 am, 5:30 am and 6:30 am
• 2nd shift: start times 1:00 pm, 1:30pm and 2:30 pm
• 3rd shift: start times 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm
• Loading glass onto conveyor
• Clean candles and apply labels
• Place lids on candles and pack for shipping
• Tape and stack boxes on pallet
• Use of hand tools, including wick cutters, pokers, hooks, pliers, scissors, safety knife and tape machine

Candlemaker (General Labor)

Qualifications:

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Prefer 6-months of prior manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Comfortable working in an environment where strong odors and fragrances are present.
• Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, including Spanish-speaking and Haitian Creole-speaking candidates.
