Position Purpose
Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care – Mount Carmel Health System
This full‑time primary care opportunity is for an APRN with outpatient experience (preferred). It offers excellent compensation, benefits and an annual CME stipend.
Employment DetailsFull‑time. The position will most likely start in New Albany and move to the Gahanna office when it opens in April.
Responsibilities- Manages the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols.
- Develops a comprehensive plan of care with the patient/family consistent with established guidelines.
- Practices within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
- Initiates and leads performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators.
- Education:
Master’s degree in Science, Nursing or a related field;
Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner Program. - License:
Current Ohio RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses;
Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a designated specialty. - BLS provider certification.
- DEA license.
