Cable Technician

* Monday-Friday (1st & 2nd shift), with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work

* About the Role
* We're looking for
* Cable Technicians
* to join a growing team in a high-tech data center environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structured cabling and telecommunications while working on exciting projects that power the future of technology.

* What You'll Do
* * Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to industry standards.

* Assist with RJ45 terminations and patch panel work under guidance.

* Learn and perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks.

* Support cable testing using tools like Fluke or EXFO (training provided).

* Gain exposure to fiber cable handling and dressing.

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

* Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors.

* What We're Looking For
* * High school diploma or GED.

* Comfortable working on ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces.

* Basic understanding of color-coded wiring and RJ45 terminations.

* Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.

* Hard-working, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.

* Ability to work days, nights, or weekends based on project needs.

* Top Skills
* * Cat5/Cat6 cabling

* Termination & punch-down

* Cable pulling and installation

* Structured cabling basics

* Nice-to-Have:
* Telecom experience, fiber handling, construction experience

* Compliance Requirements

* * Must pass a drug test (including THC) and BGC
* * Must not have worked in the META center within the last 6 months.

* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
