Invio Automation specializes in single station robotic cells, multi-station fabrication & assembly lines, bonding & welding technologies, vision systems, and packaging processes. Invio Automation Technologies division includes highly differentiated Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for heavyweight applications, turnkey assembly lines, welding automation, and custom lift‑assist & secure tools for safety critical applications. Application capabilities within our Solutions division includes thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precision dispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending.

A Tool Builder will apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic theory, and related knowledge to build, test, and de‑bug robotic and custom automation equipment according to engineering data. This position deals with the stress of managing multiple tasks at once, and prioritizing tasks based on the situation y may be asked to perform multiple roles depending on what is necessary on any given day.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly of custom tooling, automation, and robotic systems.
• Interpret and use 3D models and 2D drawings provided by engineering to build mechanical assemblies.
• Read and understand electrical and pneumatic system drawings.
• Lead projects in coordination with the greater department and provide guidance to the team to ensure proper adherence to standards.
• Work with a high attention to detail and provide consistent and quality‑driven results.
• Provide support both internal to Invio and onsite at customers as needed. This would include, but not be limited to, internal customer buy‑off events and off‑site customer install, or service as needed.
• Travel within the continental US/North America approximately 10% of the time.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well under pressure, remain professional and flexible to changing schedules and demands.
• Promote and maintain 6S standards, including safety.
• Support, communicate, reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Communicate effectively with other functional departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales.
