Psychiatric Social Worker/Psychologist – Chesterfield MI – Psychiatry, Fast growing clinic is looking for a Full Time/Part Time Psychiatric Social Worker/Psychologist to join us and work with our Medical Director Hani Mekhael M.D.

Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Social Worker/Psychologist:

• Perform intake assessments
• Provide mental health therapy for individuals
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate individual treatments
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Skills of the Psychiatric Social Worker/Psychologist:

• Competent with a wide range of clinical presentations
• Experience with children or adolescents
• Experience in marriage/couples counseling is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Able to build rapport with patients quickly

Qualifications / Requirements of the Psychiatric Social Worker/Psychologist:

• Current and valid state license
• Doctorate or Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work or related counseling field
• 2+ years clinical experience in Psychiatry outpatient setting
• Punctual and reliable
• Charismatic
