Powerlink has an immediate need for a highly motivated Dietary Aide with strong customer service skills and a solid work history to join our Food service Operations team. We are a provider of Healthcare Integrated Services to Long‑Term Care and Senior Living Facilities throughout the United States, located in Chesterfield, MI. We offer award‑winning and highly successful solutions in Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Institutional Laundry Services and Facility Maintenance.
Job SummaryThe Dietary Aide works under the supervision of the Culinary Manager. The role requires skills in food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use and cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and modified textured foods and liquids. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting dietary cooks as needed, and performing general sanitation and cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service.
Minimum one (1) year of food service experience.
Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively.
Willingness and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Must be local to Chesterfield, MI and surrounding areas.
Preferred QualificationsCurrent Serv Safe® certification or Food Handler certification.
Experience working in a long‑term care environment.
