Night shift premium offered ($2/hr).
The Laser Tracker Operators are responsible for operating the laser tracker equipment to meet quality standards and customers specifications. They maintain required inspection documentation, generate and maintain reports and provide accurate evidence of the results. They will compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain the quality of products.
Duties and Responsibilities- Measure and inspect tooling and components to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Work from tool drawings, numerical control data, quality procedures and instructions.
- In-process inspection and final inspection of parts, sub-assemblies during manufacturing per customer requirements.
- Inspection of all incoming parts and materials, which are used on end item products (tooling) as required by contract. Responsible for product acceptance.
- Locate details on tooling sub-assemblies and assist with assembly.
- Perform complete manual inspections and layout techniques.
- Responsible for maintaining Laser Tracker equipment utilized to perform job duties.
- Inspect details to complete tools utilizing hand tools, surface plate or laser tracker to print and/or model.
- Initiate applicable non-conformance documents as required.
- Provide analysis of collected data and evaluate it to provide direction for remaining operations.
- Effectively communicate to fabricators, machinists, assemblers, engineers, and other parties as required.

- Associates degree in related field required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in large scale machining / manufacturing and / or CMM operation.
- Knowledge of Verisurf, Spatial Analyzer and other metrology software.
- This position may require a government security clearance.
