Location:

New Bedford, MA

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and expense analyses.
• Calculate and process state and local sales tax on invoiced projects and ensure proper tax collection and remittance.
• Set up new customer records and documentation and identify any customer specific COI requirements.
• Invoice all completed projects in alignment with quotes and using relevant customer portals and protocols.
• Review customer contracts for AIA requirements.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good record-keeping.
• Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience working in accounting in a manufacturing business.
• Previous Manufacturing environment experience required.
• 4 year degree in Accounting.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
