Parent Child+ Early Learning Specialist

PACE Child Care Works is a full-service childcare resource and referral program dedicated to helping families find quality childcare.

The Parent Child+ Program is an evidence-based early literacy, parenting and school readiness home visiting program that strengthens families and prepares children to succeed in school by building literacy and interactions between parents and their children.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write well enough to complete home session reports, progress evaluations, and read children’s books fluently with families.
• Computer skills required.
• Bi‑lingual preferred.
• Must be able to pass a CORI and SORI background check.
• Reliable transportation.

• Conduct outreach to families.
• Work with parents/caregivers and conduct home visits to assigned families twice a week.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend required trainings and participate in weekly team meetings.

SALARY: $19.00/hour, 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - dependent upon funding.
