As part of an exciting Fine and Performing Arts Expansion, New Bedford Public Schools is excited to announce an opening for a dynamic and passionate Elementary Dance Teacher! - Be a creative and innovative educator that demonstrates mastery of and enthusiasm for the content and the pedagogy it requires
- Possess a demonstrated the ability to teach dance using a variety of dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level
- Educators should have positive classroom management techniques, be responsive to student diversity, enjoy working in an urban setting and work well with colleagues, administrators and parents.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with colleagues, administrators and parents
- Licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- A demonstrated belief that each and every student can achieve at high levels.
- A demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning, reflection, and continued personal and professional growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
