Pre-Assembly M&E Supervisor

    Position Overview

    The Pre-Assembly M&E Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the M&E scope of work, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role is critical in ensuring all mechanical and electrical connections are completed efficiently before the commissioning phase of the wind turbine.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain standard documentation for M&E completion of offshore wind turbines.
  • Follow RAMS to optimize M&E execution during the pre-assembly phase.
  • Support the PMO Preassembly Manager with M&E concepts, costing, and SVMX KPI reports.
  • Assist the Installation Team with component layouts for foundation, tower, nacelle, and blade connections.
  • Conduct incoming and RFLO inspections in collaboration with the Quality Team.
  • Provide technical support to M&E subcontractor labor.
  • Create and manage punch list defect points and non-conformity records.
  • Maintain handover logs and ensure seamless communication with offshore teams.
  • Define and document M&E sequences, processes, and method statements.
  • Participate in preassembly meetings and design development for cable deployment and mechanical finishing.
  • Conduct walk-downs of completed work to verify compliance with M&E RAMS specifications.
  • Identify and document hot issues, ensuring proper resolution before offshore deployment.
  • Manage M&E spare parts inventory and support quality assurance efforts.
  • Ensure all activities comply with EHS policies and industry standards.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the wind industry or comparable mechanical and electrical installation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E RAMS, execution sequences, and offshore operations.
  • Must be HV competent in NEXANS 72kV cable preparation, installation, and rework procedures.
  • Familiarity with Corella, SVMX, and Quality Suite for document management and reporting.
  • Proven ability to conduct inspections, resolve defects, and optimize M&E workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
