• Perform various hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments with precision and attention to detail.
• Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as requested by clients.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide expert advice on hair care, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries professionally.
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, makeup application, nail care, and other beauty services to offer innovative solutions.
• Upsell retail products effectively by understanding client needs and promoting appropriate items.
• Assist in store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth salon operations.

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for booking and retail management.
• Strong understanding of color theory for custom color formulations.
• Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Background in cosmetology or barbering with relevant licensing or certification.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and retain clients.
• Retail sales experience with retail math skills for upselling products confidently.
• Ability to perform makeup application and nail care services is a plus.
• Store management experience or leadership skills are advantageous for growth opportunities within the salon environment.
