We are searching for a Talented Advanced Clinical Tech II – Emergency Dept (Paramedic) to join our team. The successful candidate will work 36 hours, Eve/Night Shift 7:00PM-7:15AM, every other weekend and holiday, e’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Responsibilities

Under direct nursing supervision of Emergency Department Manager or Designee, perform variety of duties in providing direct patient care including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures and in accordance with physicians’ orders. Provides certain ACLS level skills through identification, escalation and notification of clinical staff for lethal cardiac monitor rhythm alarms. Under the direction of nursing may start upper extremity peripheral IVs.

Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, collation of medical records and other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
  • Minimum 2 years of working paramedic experience
  • Current Paramedic License, BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • PALS and MOAB certification required within one year of hire.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.

Pay Range
: USD $21.83 - USD $36.01 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
:
Every Other Weekend and Holiday
