- Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours
- Under the director or designee perform diversified duties including efficient performance of technical procedures in one or more units of the laboratory to produce quality and timely patient analysis to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Contribute to the solvency, efficiency, and growth of the hospital by providing quality customer services.
- Associate’s Degree or at least 60 semester hours including a minimum of 6 semester hours in Biology, 6 in Chemistry, and 3 years of clinical laboratory experience in the last 5 years under the supervision of a medical technologist.
- Certification as an MLT from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or comparable agency approved by the National Commission for Health Certifying agencies is required within two years of hire and, if applicable, maintain certification through ASCP or a comparable approved agency.
- Minimum of 5 years experience reading culture plates and clinical gram stains preferred. Willing to train the proper candidate.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing an exemption statement.
- Compensation:
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
USD $32.64 – $41.78 per hour.
Schedule32 hours per week, Evening shift 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
