We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I.
Hours: 24hrs
Shift: Day shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA
Salary: USD $19.19 - $25.76 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement: every other weekend and holiday
Sign-on Bonus: $900 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of the assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintaining patient environment, and providing assistance to licensed staff in carrying out related duties.
Qualifications- Equivalent to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent is required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long-term setting is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt from vaccination requirements by signing a statement of exemption after hire.
