Headwear Trimmer Job Summary

The Headwear Trimmer is responsible for trimming excess thread and Pellon from the logo, ensuring excellent quality and meeting company production standards.

Compensation
  • $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon
  • Attach hang tags and UPC stickers
  • Ensure excellent quality
  • Bagging and packing the final product
  • Tie on threads
  • Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to read instructions in English
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi‑task under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Must possess initiative, energy, and drive
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co‑workers and management
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms
  • Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
Work Environment
  • Exposure to moderate noise level
Vision Requirement
  • Close and distance vision
  • Color vision
Personal Protective Equipment
  • Closed‑toe footwear is required when entering the production floor
Schedule
  • 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Monday – Friday with overtime (during the week) as required
