Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN), Sexual and Reproductive Health
Job SummaryFull‑time position with one evening shift required. Salary: $80,000 annually. The RN reports to the Associate Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and works with the clinical team to provide comprehensive reproductive health services.
Responsibilities- Provide abortion services including chart review, patient eligibility screening, medication administration, and recovery care.
- Perform limited ultrasound for gestational dating.
- Coordinate timely patient medical follow‑up based on provider recommendations, including contacting patients, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care per protocols.
- Administer vaccines and injections, monitor patients, and provide post‑injection education.
- Provide clients with non‑judgmental, accurate information on reproductive health issues, abortion, contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STI), HIV, hepatitis, pregnancy options, and pregnancy prevention.
- Perform routine lab functions and testing, including phlebotomy, urine pregnancy testing, HIV and hepatitis testing, and preparing specimens for transport.
- Triage post‑procedure patient care, room patients, obtain and record medical history.
- Provide service navigation, link patients to care, and provide referrals.
- Use the electronic health record system to maintain clinical records with accurate and complete documentation per established protocols and funder guidelines.
- Review and reconcile lab results.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Massachusetts nursing license and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct patient care in a health‑care setting.
- Computer proficiency and experience using electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional, non‑judgmental, client‑centered demeanor.
- Preferred:
Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese speaking; prior OB/GYN experience.
