Job SummaryAs a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) of New Bedford, you will provide daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan. - Participating in and receiving the nursing report at the start of each shift.
- Assisting residents with daily oral hygiene and mouth care needs.
- Aiding residents with bathing (bed bath, tub, or shower) and dressing/undressing.
- Helping with lifting, turning, moving, and positioning residents safely. Recording all entries in flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner.
- Reporting any changes in a resident’s condition promptly to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
- Reporting all accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
- Preparing residents’ rooms for new admissions (bed made, name tags, admission kit, etc.).
- Following assigned work schedules and tasks.
- Cooperating with other departments and facility personnel to ensure resident needs are met.
- Flexibility in accepting different assignments.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in Massachusetts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid English communication skills.
- A genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
- A flexible schedule and willingness to help the team succeed.

Additional Information- Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem positions available for Certified Nursing Assistants on all shifts.
- Weekend Only shifts available.
