. The position is located in New Bedford, MA and works Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
- Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
- Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment and components.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance records.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure safety for self and others by following LOTO procedures.
- Understand ARC flash hazards in the workplace.
- Adhere to all relevant organizational, state and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications.
- Journeyman Electrical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of Industrial Electrician experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Strong dependability, good attendance and work ethic.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Physical stamina to stand, sit, lift, push, pull and walk throughout the day.
- Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safe operating and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Self‑starter with analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Computer literate.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production requirements.

- Complete any required training.
- Develop relationships within the department.
- Be well‑versed in priorities and understand the importance of your role to daily operations.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $26.00 – $30.00 per hour. Placement within the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock and other incentives.
