Part Time - Flexible Schedule

You can work anywhere from 1 day to 5 days a week teaching science workshops during the afternoon and/or weekends.

We provide ALL supplies, equipment and curriculum to teach the EASY, yet fun science classes. Most of our Jr. Scientists are in K-5th grade, you’ll teach basic science concepts in a fun and engaging way.

• You will drive to a school, daycare or park and rec (we offer a mileage reimbursement plan)
• You will lead a one hour exciting, immersive and interactive science lesson (after a lot of paid training so that you feel totally comfortable in all ways)

Instructing $30-$40 per one hour class (with set up and take down it averages about $20 per hour). Most days you will work 1, maybe 2 programs per day. A typical instructor will work 3-10 hours per week, depending on availability.

Extra hours may be available in our administrative office and on weekends conducting programming - let us know if you’d like more hours and we can discuss.

PS-we also loan you a cool lab coat to wear too! (you’ll be a science rockstar)
