Part Time – Flexible Schedule.
We AreA team of STEM‑loving folks who transform laboratory science into fun, interactive learning experiences for youth from Pre‑K to 6th grade. We work smart, have a good time, wear many hats, collaborate to thrill students and families.
The JobYou will drive to schools, daycares or parks (mileage reimbursement) and lead a one‑hour science lesson for K‑5 students using all supplied curriculum. You might teach 1 or 2 programs per day. Typical instructor works 3‑10 hours per week. Extra hours available in our admin office and weekends.
What Will You Do?- Drive to a school, daycare or park (mileage reimbursement plan).
- Lead a one‑hour immersive, interactive science lesson after paid training.
- Use all supplies, equipment and curriculum provided.
- Teach basic science concepts in a fun, engaging way to K‑5 students.
Instructing $30‑$40 per one‑hour class. Average about $20 per hour when set up and take‑down included. Typical instructor works 3‑10 hours per week. Extra hours may be available in our admin office and weekends. Let us know if you’d like more hours and we can discuss.
Qualifications- Flexible, creative, engaging, excellent verbal communication.
- Love children, science, teaching and/or acting.
- Own or have regular access to a car.
- Say things like “I got that,” “I have an idea,” “Let me take the lead on that,” “I handled that.”
- Teach with autonomy; support functions.
- Excited by non‑traditional schedules; love gig economy.
- Not afraid to try new things; love variety.
