The work model for the role is Onsite. This role contributes to the Motion-Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI
.

• Provide strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination of the Engineering function within a local division / product group.
• Initiate, coordinate, drive, and oversee team development and continual improvement of processes to strengthen engineering and design capability.
• Drive the team’s performance to ensure assigned engineering operations are executed successfully.
• Align the unit’s strategy with global strategy and contribute to the local division / product group strategy and its implementation, strengthening a business model relevant to engineering scope.
• Lead the local engineering teams responsible for solutions, products, or sector areas and ensure end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects on time.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, seek feedback, and provide innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (master’s degree is referenced).
• 10+ years of experience in engineering management.
• Experience leading a cross-functional team of engineering and design professionals working with OEM customers.
• Background in design of Industrial Control Panels, Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs, HMIs and Motors; familiar with regulatory requirements such as UL508A.
• Proven ability to lead design projects with varying complexity and timelines.
• Working knowledge of MS Teams, MS Office/O365, SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Passionate about developing high-performing teams, maintaining project timelines, and delivering value to customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% (Domestic and International); valid passport required.
• Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
