Base pay range

$53.00/hr - $63.00/hr

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin

Pay: $2,526/week (for travelers residing 50+ miles from the facility)

Start Date: 06/30 or 07/07

Schedule: Monday – Friday (start times vary between 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

Saturday Rotation: Every 6 weeks (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM )

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mammography Technologist for a full-time travel contract assignment in New Berlin, WI. This role involves working across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in screening mammography, excellent patient care skills, and is a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms per departmental protocols.
• Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory.
• Archive images to PACS and reconcile exams accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Assist in quality control procedures, scheduling, and patient instruction.
• Document all exams and procedures in EPIC and Radiant systems.

Requirements:

• Required: Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in mammography.
• Certifications:
• ARRT (M) – Required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS (AHA approved) – Required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient service skills.
• Diagnostic mammography experience preferred.

Additional Notes:

• This is a travel position. Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not eligible for this rate.
• Candidate must be open to working across three clinic locations as scheduled.
• Must be able to take and pass a drug screen and compliance requirements.
