ERP and Technology Administrator

Description

The ERP and Technology Administrator manages and supports JW Winco’s enterprise systems, primarily the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and related business applications. This hands‑on role configures and maintains ERP functionality, supports users, troubleshoots issues, coordinates with a third‑party IT provider, and ensures data integrity across systems.

While the position does not directly manage staff or budgets, it plays a key role in improving processes, enabling technology‑driven efficiency, and serving as the internal contact for day‑to‑day IT and system support needs across departments.

• Serve as the primary administrator for Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), overseeing configuration, maintenance, user access, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with a third‑party IT provider on network, server, and cybersecurity support, ensuring timely resolution of IT service requests.
• Serve as the internal contact for day‑to‑day IT and system support needs across departments.
• Coordinate ERP and technology projects with internal stakeholders and external vendors to enhance efficiency and system performance.
• Manage integrations between P21 and systems such as Avalara and e‑commerce platforms.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy through audits, reporting, and user training.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and user guides.
• Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting to promote adoption and maximize system performance.
• Participate in technology planning initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology management, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in ERP system administration or technical support within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases, data integration tools, and reporting software (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic system management with responsive IT support.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
