This position reports to:
Value Chain Transformation Owner – Drive. ABB is hiring a Digitalization Lead for SCM in New Berlin, WI. In this role you will be responsible for implementation of global and local value chain digitalization strategies and roadmaps in the Motion Drive Products division in United States, ensuring continuous improvement in business process harmonization and simplification, upstream and downstream alignment. You will serve as a key resource to drive business applications fit to purpose and key user community is well trained.

Primary scope is to implement or improve business applications to enable effective SCM processes including Procurement, Inventory Management and Material Master.

The work model for the role is:
Onsite, New Berlin, WI.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Support global and local business digitalization transformation strategy by executing assigned projects or continuous improvement actions.
  • Identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business needs to Information System demand requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing and system cutover activities when applicable.
  • Actively collaborate with business stakeholders, key users, internal and external IS delivery teams to ensure business application solutions are robust and reliable.
  • Follow ABB project management gate model project management guidelines and manage assigned projects with quality.
  • Serve as a process lead in sourcing, procurement and inventory management to ensure fit for purpose ERP and non-ERP business system solutions as well as end‑to‑end process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders and users to identify solution gaps, prioritize actions and follow through with solutions.

Qualifications for the role
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years of experience with SAP implementation, continuous improvements and integration with non‑ERP systems.
  • Must have expert knowledge of SAP SCM Module including Material Management, Procurement and Inventory Management.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba is preferred.
  • Proficient in English spoken and written communication.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
