Manufacturer in New Berlin is seeking a full-time Saw Operator for 1st shift. This role involves using a CNC Band Saw to cut metal materials to precise specifications. You will also help out in shipping and other departments. An excellent opportunity to expand your skills while working on a variety of tasks. Key Responsibilities- Measure and cut materials to within 1/16th inch accuracy.
- Identify and work with various materials, including sheet, plate, tube, and flat bar, ensuring correct thickness, width, and gauge.
- Assist in other departments as needed and develop CNC operating skills.
- Manage inventory by organizing materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and cast iron.
- Prepare materials for shipping/receiving and ensure all shipping paperwork is completed accurately.
- Operate a forklift to load/unload materials and properly store them.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30/3:00 PM
