Job Summary
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and components according to engineering drawings and production schedules. This role supports the efficient and accurate completion of electrical builds for hoist systems and other industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill-of-materials.
- Assemble electrical components such as junction boxes, terminals, push buttons, and control panels.
- Perform wiring operations including cutting, stripping, crimping, and mounting wires to connect electrical units.
- Conduct point-to-point testing and verify functionality of assembled systems.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and ESD handling protocols.
- Document work progress and report any discrepancies or delays to the supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Lean practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate Degree in Electronics or Technical field preferred. - 1–3 years of experience in electrical assembly or related manufacturing role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with hand tools, automated assembly equipment, and electrical testing devices.
- IPC or J-STD-001 certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during shift.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and wiring tasks.
- Visual acuity to inspect and verify assembly accuracy.
- Fast-paced production floor with exposure to electrical components and testing equipment.

2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5–12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.
