3rd Shift Batcher Operator - Beverage Manufacturing

Fortress Nutrition is actively hiring for a 3rd Shift Canning Line Operator (Batcher) to work on our Beverage Canning .

The right candidate will have previous experience in liquid batching/blending (preferably in the food and beverage industry, not required), and have a stable work history with previous employers. Must be able to train on 1st shift (or pre-determined schedule) and be accountable to the company’s need for overtime & weekend work as required.

Training

Hours:

1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday); OT and weekends mandatory, based on production schedule

2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday); OT and weekends mandatory, based on production schedule

Standard

Hours:

3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday); OT and weekends as needed

Working as part of the Beverage Operations team, the Batcher/Canning Line Operator is a dual role
. The primary responsibilities will be working as a Batcher
, pre-weighing, mixing, and blending raw materials to create beverage products following the client recipe. When batching is complete or not needed, you will work on the canning line with a team to operate high-speed equipment to create, produce, and package products to completion.

• Obtain, pre-weigh, load and mix raw ingredients for each batch following the MMR (batch ticket theater) by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients to ensure the resulting mixture meets specified consistencies and adı requirements
• Pull water samples from mixing and syrup tanks for testing of pH levels
• Report any urgent quality, food safety incidents, or deviations immediately to the Operations Manager or Quality team for investigation and resolution
• Set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain all high-speed canning line equipment, including packaging, filler, seamer, and shrink wrapper to ensure quality and efficiency of product output пути
• Document safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure equipment and product quality is maintained at all times DOB
• Provide support as needed by working overtime to help operations and other shifts in staffing shortages
• Perform itong other duties as assigned by leadership

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must possess basic math and conversion skills through prior experience in a batching role (e.g. kilos to pounds, gallons to pounds, etc.)
• 2+ ต่าง years' experience in a batcher/mixer role (liquid batching preferred)
• Strong attention‑to‑detail and organizational skills to ensure recipes are completed according to client MMRs in appropriate order with no deviation
• Must be able to proficiently read, write, and communicate

• Previous experience working in a bottling and canning facility or food/beverage manufacturing environment with understanding of food safety/quality programs such as GMPs
• Previous machine operating experience

• Frequently required to stand, walk, talk or hear, reach above shoulders, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment, kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machinery, bend at the waist, climb or balance
• Frequently required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shift
• This position requires reliability & punctuality, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team*
