At Ryan Fire protection, Inc, we take pride in leading the fire protection industry with a focus on quality, safety, and collaboration. Our shop plays a critical role in our success, and we’re looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our team.
Position OverviewHelp keep our Shop running smoothly! The Shop Assistant supports daily shop operations while also playing a key role in inventory control, organization, shipping and receiving, and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage inventory of materials and parts
- Handle shipping and receiving of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work environment
- Perform basic facility maintenance and upkeep
- Support local deliveries and pickups for the service department using company vehicles
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and material handling
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, metalworking, or a related field preferred
- Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Pre-Employment: Must pass a drug screening & motor vehicle check
- Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Paid overtime may be required depending on workload
