Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift

1st Shift/Full-Time:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Minimum starting rate: $25.00 per hour.

Performs a wide variety of highly skilled electrical and machine repairs and installation. Maintains structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, hydraulics and pneumatics, etc.

• Troubleshoots and repairs control circuitry, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Works from schematic and ladder diagrams involved in NC and CNC equipment.
• Moves and installs machine shop/fabrication equipment. Install switches, controls and other electronic devices incidental to the installation.
• Proficiently uses electrical measuring equipment to diagnose machine failures.
• Diagnose and remedy troubles, repair and replace equipment and apparatus and communicates the current status of equipment to the Production Manager and appropriate Department Supervisor.
• Work is subject to final inspection and check by supervisor.

• Requires an electrical journeyman card, or Associate's degree from technical college in related field and six months to one year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Work experience or training which demonstrates advanced knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems, AC and DC circuits and their relationship with each other.
• Basic welding and machine shop skills necessary to repair or fabricate repairs.
