As an Appliance & Refrigeration Repair Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and service a broad range of appliances in customers’ homes. You will provide excellent customer service, keep the company vehicle and parts inventory well maintained, and pursue continuous skill development through Sears’ training and mentorship programs.

• Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations.
• Provide customers with value‑added solutions to improve their homes.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and manage parts efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude; proficient with testing and repair tools.
• Preferred experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances.
• Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for part ordering.
• Successful completion of background & drug screen.
• Valid state driver’s license in the state(s) where you will work.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Physical capability: lift 20 lbs frequently, 50 lbs often, occasionally 100 lbs; reach, bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, stoop, climb, crawl as required; drive automatic vehicle.
