Power & HVAC Field Service Technician - Level 2

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a qualified technician to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment in our Power and HVAC road fleet. The role requires advanced mechanical, electrical, and diesel repair skills, as well as knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Perform advanced and complex repairs on pump, power, and HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
• Scope customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager.

• 5-7 years experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical examination (medical card).
• EPA Section 608 universal certification required.
• Advanced understanding and repair of mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment, generators, HVAC, and air compressors.
• Advanced understanding of refrigeration (EPA certified).
• Mastery of load bank repairs.
• Experience with VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and “across the line” motor starting preferred.

Base Pay Range: $27.07 - $38.90 per hour. Pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
