Billing Specialist

Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our New Bern office.

The Billing Specialist is multi-task oriented, has excellent attention to detail, can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and functions well in a fast-paced environment.

• Generate proformas; proof, edit, and print billing records from proforma to final bill stages accurately and timely; respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff.

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or related field is highly desirable.
• Two or more years' billing experience, preferably in a law office.
• Excellent math and bookkeeping skills.
• Proficient proofing and editing ability.
• Great customer service skills.
