Carolina East Health System is seeking a Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon to join our well-established Heart & Vascular team in New Bern, NC. As part of a single hospital system that includes inpatient, outpatient, and surgical resources, this role offers a rare opportunity to practice high-quality CTV surgery in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

• 1:4 call schedule for the CTV service, enabling work-life balance and minimizing burnout.
• Access to a modern hybrid operating suite, fully equipped for complex endovascular and open procedures, with advanced imaging integrations.
• Integrated within a hospital system that supports cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, with strong administrative, ICU, imaging, and vascular lab backup.
• Collaboration with a robust cardiology group: interventional cardiology, EP, general/invasive, heart failure, advanced imaging — ensures referrals, joint cases, shared care, and innovation.
