Opioid Treatment Therapist or Counselor (CADC)
Full-time – New Bern, NC – Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2 pm

Your Role in Our MissionAs an Opioid Treatment Therapist or Counselor (CADC) on our team, you’ll be a catalyst for recovery, transforming lives from day one. You’ll drive patient success by delivering person-centered therapy and case management to individuals recovering from opioid addiction; conducting assessments (for licensed therapists only); developing Person-Centered Plans (PCPs); and setting meaningful recovery goals while facilitating individual and group therapy sessions.
You will also document progress in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, coordinate with medical and support staff, provide crisis intervention, connect patients with community resources, and ensure compliance with federal and state OTP regulations.

- Supervision for licensure
- OTP Therapist:
Full or provisional LCAS, LCSW, or LCMHC and experience in substance use services. - OTP Counselor: CADC or CADC-I certification and experience in substance use services.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, group facilitation, and crisis intervention.
- Strong documentation skills to meet federal, state, and licensing requirements (e.g., NCTOPPS, treatment plans, releases of information).
- Collaborative mindset to work with physicians, nurses, and other professionals.
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT).
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
- Maintain a valid state-appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance.
