Travel ExpectationsThis role includes a variable regional travel requirement, estimated at 20%–50% per month depending on program needs. While telehealth services are also provided, you will primarily travel to support EMPOWER sites:
- New Bern
- Elizabeth City
- Ahoskie
- Greenville
- Morehead City
- Wilmington
All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay, and, depending on cost-effectiveness, a travel vehicle may be provided. You’ll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Do- Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
- Train and mentor staff, DSPs, and supervisors in ABA best practices.
- Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER, ICS, ABA) to maximize outcomes.
- Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.
- Professional Growth – Learn from a team of BCBAs with 35+ years of combined experience, attend NCABA & Autism Conferences (on us!), and step into leadership opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary: $75,000–$80,000 for this full-time exempt position

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing - Licensure:
Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
- 1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
- 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity (preferred)
- Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and unrestricted driving privileges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
