The Athletic Trainer evaluates and guides individuals in recovering from or preventing athletic-related injuries and illnesses, while supporting optimal physical performance, when applicable during school hoursand/or after-hours school related events, according to school district policyand procedures. Their primary focus ison preventing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting upstream care throughearly intervention strategies.
Minimum Requirements:- State Athletic Training licensure, certification and/or registration (All states except CA)
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and rehabilitationstechniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Must have current CPR certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
