Estate Administration Paralegal

LHH is seeking an experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to join our clients New Bern office. This role supports attorneys in the administration of estates, trusts, and guardian ships, ensuring exceptional client service and compliance with NC State Bar Rules of Professional Conduct.

• Draft correspondence and legal documents related to estate and trust administration.
• Prepare inventories, accountings, probate filings, and tax returns.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, insurance companies, and court officials.
• Review tax strategies and assist with compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and stay current on administrative changes.
• Handle estates from start to finish independently, collaborating with team members as needed.

• 3–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in estate administration.
• NC Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent client communication and service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online research tools.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading ability.
