Location and ShiftNew Bern, NC – Full-time, 2nd Shift
Responsibilities- Operate powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move product to and from trucks, storage, and loading docks.
- Safely operate industrial lift trucks, manual pallet jacks, tuggers, and other material‑handling equipment.
- Maintain material‑handling equipment including computers, mechanical scales, and related equipment.
- Load materials into vehicles, containers, and other transportation, installing strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage.
- Convey materials from storage to designated staging areas and record serial numbers using appropriate lifting apparatus.
- Follow written or oral instructions to move materials to the customer in a timely, scheduled manner.
- Unload and sort materials from trailers and locate them in the warehouse, either by directed put‑away or open location.
- Order picks and record the number of units moved or handled on a pick ticket.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, boxes, or other containers.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or with handling equipment and clean the work area, machines, and equipment.
- Palletize and wrap product for shipping.
- Complete PM sheets for the lift before each shift and report any issues immediately.
- Report all warehouse damages and segregate all quality holds to ensure they are not shipped to the customer.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
- High‑School Diploma – Required.
- 0–2 Years of Warehouse experience – Required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with packaged software on a PC‑based computer system (data entry).
- Ability to safely operate light‑duty forklifts, pallet jacks, dock levers, and similar equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of material flow and inventory control.
Pay range: $18.10 – $24.97 per hour.
Incentive Plan:
Annual Bonus target 1% of total compensation.
