Overview
Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Feeding Tube Infants – Aveanna Healthcare
Join Aveanna Healthcare as a Private Duty LPN/LVN providing care for infants with feeding tubes. This role supports pediatric patients in their home settings and requires an active LPN/LVN license and relevant clinical skills.
Responsibilities- Provide private duty nursing care for infants with feeding tubes in the patient’s home.
- Collaborate with families and clinical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and ensure patient safety during every shift.
- Administer medications and perform routine clinical procedures as delegated and within scope of practice.
- Adhere to all regulatory, licensure, and company policies; maintain patient confidentiality.
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice. Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component);
Aveanna can assist in obtaining if necessary. - TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
- Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
