The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, and the policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the location’s Lead RN and/or Office Manager. The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care specifically related to the administration of drugs and biologicals. This position also trains new clinical employees in office protocols.
Responsibilities- Implement the philosophy, objectives, and standards of care of the Nursing Division.
- Provide direct patient care, including the administration of drugs and biologicals.
- Train new clinical employees in office protocols.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by NC State Board of Nursing.
- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, staff, and others.
- Professional role model and adherence to principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient data, interpret it, and provide age‑appropriate care in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds Carolina East’s Standards of Excellence.
