As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Rounds in New Bern, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, security‑related risks, or suspicious activity to site management and/or Allied Universal as required.
• Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and provide directions within the facility as needed.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and any security‑related observations in accordance with site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support overall security‑related objectives for the location.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
