Comal Pet Hospital, part of the Suveto network of hospitals and located in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking an experienced full‑time Client Services Representative to join our team!
About Comal Pet HospitalComal Pet Hospital is home to a team of caring veterinary professionals and staff who strive daily to provide our clients and patients with the highest level of service while maintaining a warm, safe, and welcoming environment. We are a full‑service hospital providing veterinary care, pet dental services, and surgical services.
Client Service Representative (CSR)The CSR will act as a liaison, provide product/service information, and resolve any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. Although this position does not provide direct care for the pets we serve, CSRs are critical to the success of every client interaction. We work using a team‑oriented approach to deliver the best in compassionate care for both the pets and clients.
The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and work in a fast‑paced environment, ability to multitask, answer phone lines, schedule appointments, check clients in and out of the facility, and remain calm under pressure along with other miscellaneous duties. Previous experience in a multi‑doctor veterinary practice is preferred or past client service experience. Responsibilities- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with impromed systems
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of previous experience in client services.
- Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
