Job SummaryWe are seeking a Board‑Certified General Neurologist to diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions and perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEGs and EMGs. This role combines clinical expertise with procedural proficiency to deliver comprehensive neurological care.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
- Conduct thorough neurological examinations and interpret findings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Perform and interpret EEGs to assess electrical activity of the brain.
- Conduct EMGs and nerve conduction studies to evaluate neuromuscular function.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in neurology and neurodiagnostic technology.
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited neurology residency.
- Board certification in Neurology (ABPN or equivalent).
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEGs and EMGs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with CPT coding for neurology procedures (e.g., 99204, 99214, 95886, 95913).
- Ability to manage workflow efficiently and reduce no‑show rates.
- Experience in outpatient clinic settings.
