The APP Regional TMS Trainer will create and maintain a fully trained APP team in each clinic by leading the delivery of high‑quality Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) training to TMS Clinic Leads and other designated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The training provided by the APP Regional TMS Trainer will empower the prescriber TMS team in each FCC clinic to deliver high‑quality, cutting‑edge TMS to patients.
The trainer must stay current with advancements in TMS research and clinical practices rolled out through TMS COE, continuously refine their skills to ensure that they provide up‑to‑date, comprehensive training to FCC TMS Clinic Leads and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Perform 20 hours of Medication Management patient care per week in a home clinic, divided into 17 patient‑facing hours and 3 administrative hours, and 20 TMS hours per week in any clinic in the region.
- Receive clinical training, education, and products from the TMS Center of Excellence (COE) to deliver to the regions and clinics.
- Receive operational training, education, and products from the TMS Service Line to deliver to the regions and clinics.
- Develop TMS training priorities across the region and monitor the quality of TMS care provided by clinic teams, in collaboration with the RMD.
- Implement best practices to improve TMS quality care delivery and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Ensure clinics are compliant with all clinical and operational protocols for TMS delivery including dashboards, reports, and resources to improve referral to mapping process.
- Proactively address compliance issues by adjusting TMS training or workflows as needed.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies in TMS care delivery, offering recommendations to streamline training and treatment processes while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Adjust and enhance training plans as needed to maintain consistency in TMS care delivery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Support the TMS Center of Excellence by contributing to the development of TMS training materials, delivering TMS training to employees from across the organization for as long as deemed necessary by the organization and in coordination with the Chief Medical Director of the COE.
- Approximately 75% of duties will be in clinics within a single metropolitan area (region). 15% travel outside the region as personnel vacancies and patient care needs arise.
