A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to patients and healthcare staff, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care:
  Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Vital Signs Monitoring:
  Measure and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Mobility Assistance:
  Help patients with mobility, including transferring them between beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
• Feeding Support:
  Deliver meals and assist patients with eating, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Emotional Support:
  Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a caring environment.
• Infection Control:
  Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in patient areas.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervising nurses.

Qualifications

• Certification:
  Must be a certified nursing assistant, having completed a state-approved training program and passed the certification exam.
• Skills:
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical Requirements:
  Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving patients, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment
