Emergency Medicine APP (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner) role at US Acute Care Solutions.

• BC/BP in Emergency Medicine, or BC/BP in a primary specialty (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) with recent experience and current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with Emergency Medicine experience.
• Currently developing euglycemic order set for EMR in addition to a similar plan for subcutaneous insulin treatment of mild DKA.

  • 24 hours of Physician coverage
  • 12 hours of APP coverage
• EMR:
  Cerner
• 4 Physician/2 APP provider hospitalist team
• Overnight APP coverage with remote Physician support
• Intensivists on-site

• 12 hours Physician coverage
• 12 hours APP at night
• Medical ICU patients mainly, no CT surgery, no Neurosurgery
• Closed ICU model
