* Job Description:
** - Are you ready to make an impact in the Emergency Room? - We are seeking a passionate and skilled RN to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals! - You will provide top-notch care to a diverse patient population including Adults and Pediatrics.
- Be part of a high-acuity, advanced cardiac facility specializing in Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and Resuscitation.
** Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate leadership qualities as a Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess and educate patients and families about their learning needs and resources.

Skills:
** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

* Experience:
** - Minimum of 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
** Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications:
** - Current BLS certification (AHA only) required.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required.
- Current PALS certification (AHA only) required.
- Current TNCC certification required.
- RN License in state of TX or compact.
** Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Precepted by a designated trained staff member with on-boarding validation.
- Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency or specific orientation program.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
