NB Animal Urgent Care is seeking 1-2 doctors to join our team! The position is available to those with 1+ years of DVM experience in a veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of animal care, including surgery and emergency conditions, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The schedule is flexible and able to accommodate full-time or part-time hours.

8-10 hour shifts Monday through Saturday available, closed major holidays.

Requirements:

  • Apply basic knowledge of animal health and medical procedures to treat sick animals.
  • Perform routine medical treatments for pets.
  • Perform basic emergency procedures and surgeries.
  • CPR and stabilization for pets
  • Triage animals upon arrival at the clinic when needed
  • Detailed medical record keeping of all services and communication with clients
  • Aide in infectious disease control
  • Share in team training when needed
  • Attend Doctor and Team meetings
