Under general supervision of department management, performs various jobs related to repairs and maintenance of automatic control valves, pressure regulators, altitude valves, pump control valves.

• Clean, disassemble, inspect, adjust, assemble, exercise and install Control Valves.
• Completes all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Coordinates with co-workers to ensure completion of job responsibilities.
• Attend required training to assure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company policy and safety standards.

• Ability to use independent judgement and initiative.
• Ability to accurately carry out instructions and demonstrate procedures.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand a variety of maps: GIS, as built, diagrams.
• Ability to use technology: computers, SCADA, GIS.
• Experience with or aptitude for work with complex mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of the company’s service area.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum Class D Water Operators license at time of hire.
• Must obtain Class C license before expiration of Class D license.
• Two years’ experience in technical or specialized training acquired in technical school.
• Three to five years of related experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
